Machine-with-Operator Service
Description and Function:
A basic bucket comes with all machines - either in Bobcat Service (with operator) or in Rentals (without operator).
You may choose between a smooth bucket (for general use; for cleanup, spreading soil, grading, light excavating, removing sod, cleaning roads of mud, clearing snow, etc.) or a toothed bucket (for heavier excavating, digging in clay, gravel, ripping up asphalt or other hard ground).
*Please note, however, it is not included necessarily with Post Hole Service (fence & deck, reduced pricing program) as no other services, including the moving of dirt or grading, is included with the special rate - that includes post hole augering only.
Price:
$ 0 per day - No additional rental fee
(additional to hourly charge for the basic bobcat that it needs to run it, with operator)
Comment on Pricing:
No extra charge for the bucket - a general-use bucket is included automatically with all bobcats. You do need to stipulate your preference, however, if you want a smooth or toothed bucket. Generally (but not a guarantee) by default we will supply one with a smooth cutting edge if you do not request otherwise.
Applications & Purpose:
Nearly all applications and uses of a skid steer require at least some usage of a general-purpose bucket, for such things as digging, carrying materials, pushing and moving dirt/soil and aggregates, etc.
Compatibility:
All machines (bobcats) will come with a bucket corresponding either exactly or approximately to their nominal size (their class). So that means that if you order a 3 foot machine, the bucket that may come with it could be 35", or 36", or larger. 39, 42, and even 44 inch width buckets to go on a 3-foot class machine are common. So if your dimensions for the work to be done is critical or your access is tight, be sure to measure precisely and then then to make very sure you are clear with dispatch when ordering, so that you have a suitable bucket for your particular challenging situation. (That goes for all class sizes or machines, not just our 3-foot example; 4, 5 and 6 foot class machines can each have a range of buckets that are compatibile and which we do stock).
