Description and Function:
Sweeps and collects debris and dirt for dumping (doesn’t just blow the dirt around). Fast and effective clean-up of roads and parking lots for spring cleaning, post-construction clean-up, and construction mud tracked onto municipal roads.
Perfect to fit into parking garages with low ceilings, where sweeper trucks can’t go.
Price:
$ 200 per day - rental rate
(additional to hourly charge for the basic bobcat that it needs to run it, with operator)
Applications & Purpose:
The sole function of a sweeper attachment is to clean up pavement. The options generally are two - a forward sweeping power broom attachment which does not collect the dirt but just blows it forward (see picture below), which for most applications is not the best, and a sweeper attachment which does collect all the dirt into the bucket for dumping (highlighted in video), which we do recommend.
Applications include builders and general contractors who need to do post-construction clean up of parking lots, underground garages, sidewalks and driveways, and ongoing cleaning of roads (to prevent municipal fines). Landscapers and property management companies need sweepers for spring clean-ups of commercial/industrial/institutional and condo/apartment building parking lots, townhouse complexes and so on.
Compatibility:
All bobcats with modern couplers and standard flush-faced quick-attach auxilliary hydraulic fittings can run sweepers.
Due to the size of the sweeper attachment itself (typically 5 feet or more wide) and the need for a powerful engine and hydraulic flow, it is best run on a full size machine in the 5 or 6 foot classes.

About half of our branches presently stock sweepers.
