Why Use OnDemand's Bobcat Service?

This service is the cornerstone of our organization.  Yes, we do offer most of the same machines on a rental basis without the operator from a number of our branches, but the fact is that the greatest value to the builder, contractor, or landscaper is the ability to have a machine of choice on your site being run by an operator who knows that particular model in and out - has spent perhaps hundreds of hours in that very machine.  You get not only his personal experience with that machine and its controls and particulars, but an operator that has spent thousands of hours on jobsites - you can gain a lot by all of his experience. 

What does that mean?

Over a part-time, casual operator you have a much more efficient use of the machinery, faster, and therefore cheaper - keeping your costs down, getting the job done faster, speeding your project along. 

Also with the better skills and experience you have a greater accuracy of excavating, grading and so forth - so less time is spent on handwork in finishing with rakes, etc, less waste - less overdigging fill to be hauled away, and so less excess extra costly materials have to be brought in and installed because of the same overdigging - extra gravel, concrete and so forth.

Safety is also a factor; you benefit in greatly reduced chance of mishap or collateral damage to property, etc.

If you have a task to get done and the machine work is such that it can be done fairly steadily with not too many long interruptions, then having our operator come with the machine to run it for you will almost always save you a lot of time and money over renting or hiring a similar task to be done on a fixed (higher) price contract-basis. Why use us; when to use us?

Don't have your own excavating equipment? You would have to own a lot of machines to have what you need to handle all the tasks you encounter, all the sizes and types.  Do some real cost analysis on how much owning even 1 machine costs including capital outlay, depreciation, storage, maintenance, insurance, transportation, and so on.  Many landscapers and builders prefer just to use our pool of machines as they periodically need to, finding it to be a lot less hassle to ownership, cheaper, and more convenient.

Own your own machine(s) now, but find that you are too busy, (or maybe one is broken down)?  Do you have too much work on the go right now?  Too many projects ongoing, and a bit behind schedule?  Maybe the weather has set you back?  Having our operator with the machine instantly expands your company to get you through the tough spots.  No need to run ads and hire and train people, no long-term commitments to additional employees and all that entails, etc.  Bring us in as needed, get the work done and we move on.
