2. Independently Owned and Operated Branches
Bobcat Service Division
with-operator rentals, excavation services
OnDemand is an organization, not a singular company. It is a group of independent business owners that operate a number of branches under the OnDemand branding with many similarities in pricing, service offerings and policies.
Each member is an owner and as such is fully responsible for its own actions and consequences and for maintaining our reputation as a group. Each branch and its ownership (many of whom are its machine operators as well) therefore has a vested interest in providing the highest quality service and pleasing the customer. We all operate our branches based on a system and attempt to do so identically, so that from the customer’s perspective there is consistency, actually near-uniformity, from branch to branch. Have one of our operators in from our Barrie branch today, and another from our Niagara branch tomorrow, and other than his name being different, the service, the way things are done, the pricing, the whole experience should feel nearly identical. No surprises. So, the policies we adhere to, the procedures we follow, the pricing, and so forth is all the same.
You can reach our central dispatchers from the local (non-long-distance) phone numbers which all call-forward to the same offices where they work. Our logos, work orders and many other features are identical.
But make no mistake, there is no Mr. OnDemand, there is no one central owner. We are a group of owner-operated businesses connected to one another by the aforementioned policies, pricing, and identity, etc. Any possible issue you may have on occasion with one operator or branch (rarely happens, and we certainly hope it won’t in your case), remains entirely an issue between yourself and that branch, its operator that day and/or branch’s owner. Never will it be an issue to be borne by or affecting another branch, or the Franchisor of our group.
That said, if the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction on site, please do contact the Franchisor and see what they are able and willing to do to intercede on your behalf (they are motivated to help, and will do so as the situation warrants).
