Maximum-class mini-excavators - perfect for digging for new services
Full-sized machine
This class of machine is appropriately called “Maximum” because they are among the largest units still to be considered "mini"-excavators.  Big enough to handle most excavating tasks efficiently on commercial jobsites, but at only 5 feet wide, it's compact enough to be useful on many residential sites.
perfect for pools, additions, and trenching for waterlines, water/sewer hook-ups, etc.  Order one with the telescoping boom feature to extend its dig depth to a remarkable 13-feet - and that on only a 5’ wide machine!
Will carry most all available attachments.

or similar  (Bobcat 331 model shown)
* Need something with a bit more reach and a greater dig-depth capacity, that just 10 feet?  Click here to go to this same machine category, but with the extenda-boom feature, allowing for up to a 13-foot dig depth!
The preference for waterproofing and addition digs
Add a concrete breaker!
Drill holes almost anywhere with the auger, up to 10' deep X 36" diameter.
A trenching bucket is included with the machine, included at no extra charge.  A standard 20" or 24" typically, unless specifically requested for an extra-narrow one to be supplied (ie 13" or 16"), or one extra wide (30" or 39").  No charge
Ripper - for frost, shale, clay, other hard ground.  Loosens / breaks ground up so that the bucket can dig it up. $50/day
Thumb/clamp - some models in this class may have a clamp or thumb permanently installed (and so hence not an attachment, but rather an upgrade feature), allowing for the grabbing of odd-shaped materials / demolition use. $50/day upgrade charge
Choice of many bucket sizes
Auger - Auger attachment drive $75/day for fence/deck (9 or 12" bits included, no extra charge).
Or larger diameter bits for pier foundations, sign and light standard posts, etc
(15, 18, 24, 30, 36" diameter), $100/day/bit
Concrete breaker - sidewalks, curbs, pads/slabs, old footings, etc.  Can also break frost, shale/rock. $250/day
Laser Level - For establishing consistent grades for footings, basements, pools, etc - don't forget to order a laser level kit for the excavator.  $50/day
Attachments
This machines available in this class will handle almost all the  common attachments available for use with mini-excavators, as shown here:
(For specifics, to ensure the machine/attachment combination you are looking for is available from your local branch, please inquire of dispatch.)

Shown here an video demonstrating basic functions of a maximum-class of mini-excavator.  Shown: a Bobcat 331.  It's a brief video clip which provides a glimpse of what the machine looks like in motion. Our own videos are in production and will be posted soon when complete.
