Bobcat Service Division
with-operator rentals, excavation services
You supply oversight of the work being done at your site - both to check up on our services for you as well as any other trades or individuals working on your site.

We recommend that your person with oversight responsiblities checks on measurements, dimensions and such on a regular and frequent basis - not that you want to get in our machine's way, but to be on site and aware of what is being done often enough that if something is not quite right it is caught early enough on before too much time or materials are wasted.  This is for your benefit, entirely.
You should always make sure that someone with sufficient knowledge and authority is on hand at the end to sign off and release your operator when he leaves with the equipment, because if something is not to spec or completed as desired, we do not offer a free or discounted return, no free call-backs.  Ensure it is right before we leave in the first place - that is your job.

You should be yourself and/or have one or more of your workers present probably at all times for various tasks on the site – including prepping the site for equipment (moving obstacles, debris, etc.) from the path of the equipment, doing handwork (ie with a shovel, rakes, etc., depending on the nature of the project), providing traffic control, shoring, opening and closing the site (including making it safe with barricades, caution tape, etc.), providing direction, painting out dig areas, and so forth.
There is especially a need for a  “pit man” for excavation digs when grade is critical, for footings, basements, pools, establishing paving base grades,  and so on (ie someone to check grade, work a shovel, etc. in the hole, dig around gas and other utility lines).
You will also need to provide assistance to the operator in certain cases where your machinery selection dictates the need of a second set of hands (such as the installation of a large auger bit to the auger drive, etc.).

We offer machine operators only.  And our machine operators are machine operators only, not labourers.  We do not ever supply labourers.
Please do not expect our machine operators to get out of the machine and do any non-operating, labourer-type work.  You will need to provide any necessary labourers for all tasks needed out of the machine, including  clean up, compaction, running cut off saws, separating materials and removing garbage from fill, taking measurements and verifying those against drawings, etc.
