The fact is that machines can break down, and will do so periodically.  And that is so even if they are nearly brand new and/or regularly meticulously maintained.

In the event that we have a machinery breakdown at any point after our arrival (be it 5 minutes into our time with you, 5 hours, or 5 days in), we will not accept a cancellation of the booking, we will not leave for free, we do not offer any no-pay guarantee, even in the event of an early breakdown shortly after arrival.

Machinery as new and well maintained as can be, will breakdown, and as Murphy’s Law states, that will probably happen at the worst of times.  What we will do in such a circumstance, though, is we will attempt to repair the problem on site, failing that we will go and get a replacement machine with something identical, or in the same size/type category, or as close a match as is possible, based on what is available locally, (we will not charge you for the downtime, of course, nor the replacement machine’s delivery – no float fee).
We will do this, if the replacement is available, at the soonest opportunity that we can, perhaps immediately. 
If we cannot do that within a reasonable period of time, we both may agree to stop the service – and we will pro-rate your bill for actual services provided and time charged (if under our minimum), and if past our minimum hours you will be charged for actual time, and the normal float fee and any rentals or other charges.
