Discounted Rates
These are our discounted rates which are offered only to contractors - those in the building, landscaping and related-trades industries - who work on behalf of others.
For first-time customers, proof of being an actual contractor may be required, and failing such, all services automatically revert to non-contractor pricing
(ie homeowners, etc) by default. Please click on links for more information.
Our pricing has been set up to be very simple: It is hourly-based, and is comprised of 3 main components:
1. A Float Fee - currently about $100 (one-time charge) for both delivery and removal, (jobsite address dependent).
2. An hourly rate - mostly $75/hr, (price based on machine selected), with a set minimum number of hours, 4 - usually.
That's it; there are no hidden fees or surprise charges
(If on some occassion there is to be an extra charge for some item - a rarity - you will always be advised in advance.
Let's take one example:
A typical short booking for a small task, like ripping up an asphalt driveway and loading a bin, spreading the new gravel base. Assuming it takes 4 hours or less, and no extra attachments are needed beyond the dirt bucket which is included, the charge for this service call will only be $400, plus tax.
That includes the machine, operator, fuel, delivery and 4 hours of time on site. $75/hr X 4 = $300 + $100 float = $400

Half-day rate (4 hr min), from: $300+
Special rates:
Standby-rate (2 hr min*), from: $150+
*non-scheduled service, done at our convnience, perfect for small projects
+rates plus float fee and any attachment rentals or feature upgrades
Corporate-pricing (for high-volume, international constructors), or
Extended-assignment rates (referring to projects needing our services for a minimum of a continuous 2 week period on one site),

Machine-with-Operator Excavation Service
Our rates are $75 to $85 per hour, depending on machine-class selected. Click here for full list. All rates are plus-tax (HST), and include the basic machine rental, the operator, and fuel. A daily minimum hour charge applies (in most cases 4 hours per visit and/or per day) and a single float fee will be charged (that fee is charged only once: it covers both delivery and removal of machine). Any additional attachments needed (beside the basic bucket which is always included at no charge) can be delivered to you at the same time and are charged on a daily rental basis.
